I asked a girl out about a month and a half ago. She was coming out of a long relationship and I had had a crush on her for about 4 years. I asked her out over the phone and she said that she just wasn't in the right place right now in her life, but that she would love to hang out sometime. First of all, what does that mean? Secondly, when I asked her to hang out, I did this twice, she was busy? Is she just not into me? Finally, I'm thinking of asking her to lunch tomorrow, should I do it, and if so, how?

Thanks!

'Hang out' means spending time with you as a friend. You could try singing to her?
Stop pressuring her, she'll come round if and when she's ready. She probably needs some space - stop pushing it.
Don't ask her. She isn't interested. She was trying to let you down gently.
put 'at' between the l and the i and put an n between the o and the s.
