into our conservatory, from the garage.
He wants to use it in the house. Up to now he has been quite happy using it in the garage.
How do you get him to move it back into the garage, without you having an argument about it?
I want it to happen, without it causing any tension between us.
I would really appreciate your thoughts and comments. Many thanks in advance! xx

Why do you want it to happen?
I can't see the problem here.I would be more concerned if he had moved it into the living room.
Morning scruffbag. Considering the health of his mum, why not just let him have the call on this one? I bet it is a bit cold in the garage at the moment :)
Well....that is a problem........yes indeed.

I intend to give it more thought and then will return.

I do not want the bike in the conservatory if I can help it. I sit in the lounge, and all I can see is this bike stiring back at me through the glass doors.
Its his house as well as yours. In the grand scheme of things, believe me this is minor. Let it go.
get some curtains - problem solved. Or you could just talk to him!
Sit in a different chair.

It is a minor thing to concern yourself with.

I imagine your husband finds it warmer in the Conservatory than the Garage; and I think he probably has every right to want to continue his exercise regimen in the warmth of his own house.
Did he not ask if you minded first? I would imagine he just wants it indoors for the winter. Why don't you ask him?
I wish my problems with my husband were as minor as yours!
Maybe let it stay till weather improves and he can move it back...be pleased he is doing some exercise...
If this happened in my house the solution would be to say

"Right, get that bike shifted out of the conservatory and back into the garage. There is no rush, but anytime in the next five minutes will do."
Let it go on the understanding it goes back in the garage in the spring... maybe buy him a nice shed for his birthday put in a power supply and a mini fridge with some extra gym bits... make him a proper boy space... you may however never see him again
Perhaps you could move some of your cr@p into the garage to set an example?
^ Unhelpful but PMSL
Perhaps you should realise that the house is his as much as yours and that an exercise bike in the conservatory is a very minor 'problem'. Or maybe you could offer to swap the current bike for a real exercise bike which may be a little smaller.
LOL grass, Snap.

I'd do what bednobs suggested scruffbag and get some curtains
Start using it as clothes horse, that's the way the generally end up when they're indoors.
My Fiance moved his motor bike into my conservatory(not a room I use)
It's quite funny actually, my ex wanted the room, I couldn't have cared less(another room to clean) and he paid for it and we split not long after.
I don't have a garage or large enough shed and it makes me so happy my Fiance is getting good use of it lol
buy him a heater for the garage !
