Any Suggestions For Making A Recording On My Son's Cornet To Play At A Family Funeral

My son wishes to make a recording for his Great Grandma 's funeral in two weeks . He will be on holiday at the time so can't play it live, has anybody got any ideas how we can go about doing it. Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Go to Maplin, PC world etc and they can sell you a reasonable quality USB mic very cheaply which will do for something which isn't vocal. You can record using a free software like Audacity or simply sometimes even get away with the built in sound recorder. With audacity you do have the option to clean up the sound and adjust levels so it might be your better bet.
It's not the world's greatest sound software but it does have a free option and is very easy to use. Make sure you save your recording to a common file type like .mp3 though or it won't be able to be played. You can download Audacity here:-
