It might be a good idea to make a reservation for a table in your favourite restaurant before it gets full booked.

already done, fantastic little nearby bistro for our family.
Thank you Robert, what would we do without you?
Baldric, probably have to cook!
Now you put it like that...............
Ok let's have some recommendations for decent restaurants not too far from Kingston on Thames or even as far out as Cobham !! I really cannot recommend one and I have been to loads. Good food please, preferably English or Italian, not overpriced with pleasant staff. I am yet to find it ...
Didnt know mother's day was 10 March - that will be a sad day for my sister who lost her son in Thailand that day 8 years ago. Sad day for me too.
why?
connemara, not being nosy, but where does your sister live, roughly what location...
Sorry Em - I thought you meant why would you have to book a table. No my sister's son died after the Tsunami which was on Boxing Day - he went out to Thailand on 6 March and accidentally drowned in a local pool - there was no one there except a little old pool man and it was too late. It took 3 weeks to get him home so believe me it was a terrible long time to wake anybody. A nightmare - it still is. Northern Ireland
apologies, it was only that a friends son went missing in Thailand years ago, and was never found, terrible thing...
for you, your sister and my friends family, losing a child is the hardest thing.
