My landlord is selling the house im living in, and means me and my family are once again going to be homeless. Council have told me that we have to stay until we are evicted by bailiffs to even warrant emergency housing. We have managed to secure a guarantor for another property but what i'm wondering is about my credit checks. I've paid all my rent currently on time, finished paying for my car, and have paid towards any debts i have. The last house I was evicted from for rent arrears, and have not defaulted this time, and it's nearly 3 years since we left the other property, and have been paying rent on time since September 2011. What are the chances of credit reference agency giving me a good report.
If you can avoid emergency housing, do.
my friend with 11 month old(non-walking) twins is on the 2nd floor of a b and b and th pram wont fir throught the doors. She has to take the pram down first, then 1 baby (leaving one alone), then leave that one alone to go and get the other one. They don't have access to a kitchen either
This may be a little late but you may well pass credit checks with an agency as you are not borrowing money.
I was worried about the same thing when I moved into my privately rented house last year as I knew my credit rating was shocking. I did warn them that I might fail it but got through it no trouble.
Even if you do fail it, you say you have a guarantor so most agencies will be happy with that.
