If you puree vegetables for weaning babies, then freeze them, how should you defrost them?
I am making everything from scratch and generally only make as much as i need each day but got carried away with the brocolli today and have about a weeks supply and seems a shame to go to waste! Thanks

The safest way to defrost is in a fridge overnight.
i just micro
I was told to let them defrost in the fridge overnight and then heat in the microwave until steaming, then let it cool a bit and feed to baby. However I am heating them in the microwave straight from frozen, as I kept forgetting to get them out the night before.

Freeze the food in ice cube trays and then tip out in to a freezer bag.
if you micro the food from frozen it may get hot/cold spots and not reheat evenly. the safest way is to do it in the fridge overnight, and then microwave it a little before serving.
