Invalid Sim Card

Hi, I have a Blackberry Curve on Orange PAYG. The phone is unlocked and has been ok until my recent trip to Malta. I used the phone whilst there but, after a few days, got the invalid SIM card message. I took out the sim then reinserted it and it was ok for a while. On my return to UK it worked well for a few weeks but I am now getting the invalid SIM card message again. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem? Many thanks.

Sounds strange. I'm wondering if you have dirty contacts. Try wiping the SIM card contacts over your sleeve a few times and see if that helps with the intermittent problem.

Cleaning the contacts didn't work, so put sim into another mobile for a while, then back into mine. No problem since.
