Law On Neighbouring Tree Height
Is there a law on how tall neighbouring trees can be before you can get them crowned or removed.?? Next-door has 4 Leylandii about 30 feet tall at the West side of our garden fence, they block the late afternoon sun and any sunsets, drop needles on to my flower border, and are home to a colony (what is the collective noun?) of pigeons who do their best to monopolise the bird table and scare the robin and other birds.
It,s no good asking him next-door as he is a stroppy so and so, objects to kids playing on the swings opposite, people walking past his house ,etc.
I'd appreciate any advice on how to get these trees removed or reduced in size. Thanks.

(However you have to pay). But there is no legislation relating to individual trees.
