My eldest son lives with me full time, my daughter now wants to live with me full time. I am currently under a supervision order, my wife is telling me that I do not haver equal rights over the children due to my conviction. Is she right????

What is the supervision order about and what ages are the children?
Children over 10 will be given the chance to put their own views to the court if there is a residency case and the child's wishes will be taken into account.

CAB will give good advice.

The last time I met a mother who pointed to the father and said he has no rights in this ..... she was right. However remember that when it comes to a court action - the welfare of the children are paramount

My gut feeling is that she is wrong, but as eddie says, you need to provide more info.

1. What are the terms of the supervision order?
2. Has there been any orders made by the County Court or Magistrates Court (family) regarding the children?
3. Do you have equal parental responsibility for your daughter?
