Most Stressful Party Ever
33 Answers
I am well experienced at holding kids parties but today's was the most stressful one ever. One child spoilt it for nearly everyone else. She was so mean that thing 1 was crying and saying she wanted to go home (and she is hard as nails). The brat in question managed to split a child's lip (accidentally on purpose), I actually saw her push thing 2 off the bouncy castle and push another kid over. Kids were telling me she had been mean to them. Each time she did something I had a word with her. Himself caught her doing some stuff too and threatened to get her mum to come and get her. She must be one of the slyest and nastiest kids I have ever come across. Arghh, she really spoilt things and has given me a bad head.

I've had trouble with her at school and so have others but I couldn't not invite her. Spent the whole time watching her (she is really good at being sly) instead of enjoying the kids having a good time.
best children's parties I ever held were swimming pool parties. Cheap to hire the pool, plenty of pool toys and lifeguards, a room for cake and drinks after , all children totally exhausted by the end of it .
And you could always sneakily drown any little ratbags.

Once spent hours making a Hansel and Gretel gingerbread house for daughter's party. Little horrors cried when I said it was time to cut the cake!
Are the Things the youngest of your kids? If so is it normal for a child of that age to be so sly and devious? I know that kids can be monsters but she seems sadistic and extreme.
I hope that apart from demon child the day wasn't too bad, it could be worse - she could be yours.

At our pool it was optional for the parents to get wet. lifeguards were included in the hire, and we were told we could have up to 150 people altogether. We were in fact about 60 in total, including families and hangers-on. For my three children it was a brilliant bargain (All 3 birthdays very close in summer holidays)
The things are the youngest (6). She is the slyest 6 year old I have ever come across and himself, ex primary deputy, has met hundreds of small people and even he was amazed. She was just mean to anyone she could be mean to. She will be a right little cow when she gets older but as you say, at least she's not mine (I would go mental if one of mine ever behaved like that). Recently she has been caught teaching her classmates the f word.
