Finding Out Any Money Raised On Property.

Hi all,
What's the easiest way to find out online if any money (be it loans or mortgage) has been raised using a specific property as collateral?
Perhaps it's not so easy, but maybe there is a way?
I've looked at the Land Registry's site but that's more about titles. I haven't bought the title register from them because I don't know if it would include any monies raised against it.
Any thoughts? Apart from mortgages, it would nice to able to find out any monies advanced against this property in any other way.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If a property is used to secure a loan, then it usual for the loaner to register this at the land registry so that if the borrower tries to sell the property, the fact that there is a loan secured against it becomes evident....so yes you need to buy the title document, they aren't expensive. Make sure you go to the .gov site as there are private sites with similar addresses who will charge you a fee for getting hold of the doc for you.
