He needs to grow up and move on as you will in years to come. Even though he is at university he will still come home, and you will also be able to contact each other via email and even video conferencing. In a year and a half you might feel different about it. You will be concerning yourself with your G.C.S.E's
Dont be depressed about something that is happening in 18 months time. Non stop crying is not going to change anything. He will go and he will be back for holidays. You are not losing your brother.
He needs to grow up and move on as you will in years to come.

Even though he is at university he will still come home, and you will also be able to contact each other via email and even video conferencing.

Maybe you will even be able to visit him at his university and he can take you round and show you the university and local area.

If ever you become a parent you will have the same problem, your children will grow up and eventually they will want to leave home. It is something you have to accept.

Life is constantly changing and we cant lock it in a "bubble" and hope it never changes.

You need to think about how YOU are going to get to university as there is no doubt a university education is of great benefit all your life.
Maybe in one and a half years' time you will be more independent with school friends you relate more to. Perhaps you'll feel good he is about to go on one of life's adventures, and feel happy for him. Meanwhile concentrate more on what you want to do with your life, maybe see what makes you special and a 'hero' in other folks' eyes instead.
I don't mean to be harsh but jeeeez....get a grip. Save your tears until he actually leaves.
I was wondering if the post was meant to be subliminal.

Stop thinking about it until nearer the time.
You've got an interesting user name - are you in the UK?
