Not Sure About Online Check In...
So I've printed off what I can with my booking, what I believe is our tickets and itinerary. But I'm clueless about online check in.. So I thought kiosk check in May be better? I know I can print my bag tags off from there, bit do I need a bag tag for my hand luggage too? Wasn't sure if I'm not handing it over to them. But do the kiosks also print me my boarding pass? Or do I have to queue to receive that? I'm assuming it does as it would be a little silly to have to check in then queue for a boarding pass? I'm so worried! I always go into the travel agents when booking holidays, that way if there's a screw up in have someone to blame! :( help?

So, unless you'll have internet facilities (complete with a printer) available to you at your holiday destination, you'll have to check in at the airport for your return trip anyway.
At Heathrow you can simply use the automated check-in facility (instead of checking in online in advance), which is explained here:
