make her a gift bundle of all the things she couldn't have but wanted while preggers - wine, brie, and so on
Many congrats to you and yours, Meg.
What about a pendant or bracelet with your new granddaughter's birth stone?

Congratulations by the way! Beautiful name.
I'd go with bednobs suggestion or maybe something pampering like buying a massage voucher or a facial.
bednobs -you are presuming she's not breastfeeding then?
A pamper pack just for herself...bath, shower, bubbly, etc x
bedknobs' idea is great - but a session with a relaxing massage would be well-received, I'm sure. Congrats. to all.

A-lee
Congratulations to all.
Sorry, that was to bednobs. I'm on my kindle and not doing well typing on it!
ta. And peanut butter!! forgot that. And manchego cheese
So if she breastfeeds she just leaves out the wine.

Thank you or such quick replies, she really missed the wine when she was pregnant but now she's breastfeeding so probably not an option yet!
I like the suggestion of a pampering voucher, never thought of that! Thanksxx
i suppose the problem will be finding time to go and get pampered :)

True bednobs vouchers usually last for a year or so I think. I'm struggling with the middle name, googling came up with AayLee, her mum is from the isle of Lewis. I think in English it would be Ellie.
It's Aileen in English. :-)
A bottle of champagne - she can keep it in the cupboard until a suitable time.

Well it's down to a pampering voucher, or a nice bottle to keep till breastfeeding is over, I've lots of presents for the 3 year old sibling, always ignore baby at first and make a fuss of the other grandchild. Thanks for being so helpfulxx
It rhymes with Ceilidh - your phonetic spelling is right.

How about a nappy cake? No you can't eat it!!!!
