My granddaughter has asked me to write a few words on the occasion of my lovely daughter's 50th birthday that because of location and illness I can't attend.
My mind has gone co,pletely empty and I can't even get started. Please are there any kind souls out there who will help me get started by giving me a few pointers.

Wonderful minty, I can already feel the old brain starting up.
Once again AB comes out on top.
good luck Xstitcher xx
Recent photos of last year's wedding - I thoroughly enjoyed. The couple had a big adoring dog with the most saddest eyes This was projected on a projector and when dog moved her brother superimposed big posters in front of dog explaining how he was explaining - sad, happy lovely.

I will go through what happened but forgive the sequence - they are just ideas.

1. Her brother took photos of the big dog languished sadly in bed and her brother photographed - in front of superimposed were words "I am going to miss you too" I love you - see you when I get back from honeymoon so sentimental. repeated myself there - too early to speak

2. Old sweets of yesteryear produced on the table in the old bottles at the beginning of evening with a nice cuppa

3. Old photos of all grandparents parents right down to the groom and bride etc on a big board

I know you want words - but unfortunately I couldnt hear many words.

But just get a pen and jotter and throttle your brain when she was young and done or bad things. mark them 1 2 3 then your brain will pick up.

What famous thing she did when you were proud. Was should good at instruments etc - brilliant some subjects and there you go.

Did she marry a nice husband - tell a wee story there - from then I just think reading from your mind is better than reading from page - tho you need the refer to page now and again. Again just reminisce. Happy wedding.

do have please music - it brings everybody together - some people put sweeties for end of evening but one wedding about 250 - bridge and groom bought scratch cards - for a good cause only one won about £100.

Say what you want to say and if you don't feel saying any more dont.

Remember the bridesmaids grooms etc for their part and anybody else.

Hope I have helped a wee bit Xer - but both of all enjoy the day.
