//Shadow education secretary Angela Rayner said there is already a national shortage of foster families and despite an advertisement campaign it is a constant struggle to find more….Local authorities are understood to be bracing themselves for even more demand on services when some of the children coming to the UK under the Dublin regulations are unable to live with family members because their accommodation is unsuitable.//

Fostering is a ridiculous idea since the justification was for the child to join their family. Perhaps they can go join the child/other family members instead ?
just a point of pedantry -
the "Dublin Regulation" is the EU law that determines which Member State is responsible to examine an application for asylum, when seeking international protection under the Geneva Convention, etc etc etc, signed in Dublin (hence its name)
the "Dubs Amendment" is the amendment to UK immigration legislation pertaining to unaccompanied child refugees. named for the originator, Lord Alf Dubs (and not as a contraction of the word "Dublin", pertaining to the EU law).
