My Baby And Her Milestones

My baby daughter is ten months old today. She isn't showing any signs of wanting to stand on her legs nor roll over. Should I be concerned?

Whether or not you should be concerned is irrelevant. You clearly ARE concerned or you wouldn't have posted here. Speak to your GP, clinic or health visitor a.s.a.p. to hopefully allay your fears or, if required, to get support to deal with any problems.

Yes, it probably is worth talking to your health visitor, but I wouldn't worry too much. There is a wide range of normal ages for the various milestones, as babies are individuals are they all like to focus on learning different things. Are you giving her some tummy time a few times every day?

Totally agree with Chris. You didn't mention if your baby is crawling or bum shuffling.If you hold her up and she pulls her legs up and won't put them on the floor, then I would say have a word with your GP who may refer you to a peadiatrician in case she isn't standing on her legs in a few months time.

Go along with the majority view, there is a very wide developmental range. Have you tried the usual stuff such as favourite toy just out of reach to encourage movement? To set your mind at rest do speak to your professional health worker.

I think 1o months baby is pretty small for reacting any action. You can provoke her for asking water or any toy that way she adopting the habit.
