Hi, can anybody help, im trying to find out if my nana who passed away in august left a will, i think she might of done a post office pack one but im not sure where they get send to and how to find out if she did leave or not .

They don't need to send them anywhere, but if she did complete one and it isn't at her home she may have left it with a solicitor or her bank, but I think it's unlikely- normally there would also be a copy readily accessible at home

I don't know what you mean by that. It's a good idea to leave a copy with at least one executor.
once probate has been granted , i believe it becomes public
Do you think that maybe your nan asked one of her other relatives to be an executor? Then she would have to get two people (not beneficiaries) to witness her signing the will and they would also have to sign it.Then she probably put it in a 'safe' place. Did she have any close friends that she may have asked? I think you need to make a few discreet enquiries.
