Minecraft Roman Villa Home-Learning

For homework or home-learning as its called now my son has to create a Roman Villa. Having never used minecraft before I have no idea how to use it. I've downloaded free versions on desktop and tablet. Which is better?

I've tried searching for guides but not having much luck. Help!

Neither did I until it was set as a home learning task! :o(

The one I downloaded onto my desktop appears to be a demo which only lasts for 5 days but we've got it on tablet which Little Tiggs is enjoying playing. He seems to know what he's doing more than me.

Still need to figure out how to build a flaming Roman Villa! :o/

Try You Tube as there should be videos showing how to do this. When did life get so complicated??

I don't remember homework being like this when I was his age. In fact I don't remember getting homework at his age. Think it started from 11+.
