hello. SWMBO DID allow me to have my crossword period! I helped her get ready for the big day. I must say I am really looking forward to it. Just as. I used to do when I was younger. After Mass, His Nibs and his Momma (and a number of SWMBO's friends ) are coming for the meal which promises to be a really good do. And then she and I are are going to His Nibs's house on St Stephen's Day. Might not sound exciting to you but it's giving me little tremors of excitement. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday
As is my way, I have one answer I'd like an explanation for please.
"one moaning about sensitivity in buccaneer" The answer seems to be "sea robber". I see somber and a buccaneer is a sea robber. But where do "ear" and "sensitivity" fit in please?

One definition of 'ear' is 'the faculty of distinguishing sounds, especially of a different pitch'. That seems to equate with 'sensitivity'. Many musicians have a good ear.
