Do you not think it's time that curfew's and other laws were imposed on people using the current lockdown in the united kingdom, as sort of holiday?

Speaking to friends up and down the country saying motorways are gridlocked and campsites are starting to fill up. Not to mention beaches in all of this.

Surely this type of activity is only going to accelerate the pandemic?

Crowds were also reported in the Yorkshire Dales, around Aysgarth and other beauty spots:

Norfolk is suffering from second homers leaving London and moving to Norfolk. My mother said that the town was heaving yesterday with people which is somewhat frightening
I've seen several groups of 6 to 8 people walking round here. I understand going out for walks in the country but I don't understand them doing it in groups!
we are in self imposed isolation, my partner is in a high risk group. I've stopped attending my volunteer gardening group, don't expect it will be open to avoid people mixing.
No doubt it will accelerate it, putting themselves and everyone around them at risk.

I'll be working from home tomorrow if I'm feeling well enough and also monitoring online home-schooling, Little Tiggs's school has set up on ClassDojo.
can't see why I'd rather be at home with all the comforts than sitting in field in a small metal box. Especially as the camp site bar will be closed. Holiday? sounds more like a gulag to me.
These people heading for the hills, beaches and second homes are irresponsible, selfish (insert word of choice!)
Some people appear to be seeing this pandemic merely as an excuse to not go to work, therefore they think that they might as well go out into the countryside, where the air's fresh and clean. What could possibly go wrong?
I’m surprised travel restrictions aren’t in place. Hard to enforce perhaps.
At this rate, the motorways will have border crossings set up and people will need to show proof of address before they can leave.
They're not selfish if they keep themselves to themselves in their caravans, holiday homes , beaches etc.
There were so many people on Snowdon yesterday that the Welsh Government is talking of closing the facility. Colwyn Bay prom was rammed. All the selfish gits from the cities bringing their virus. There was only one case in Conwy County and one in Gwynedd up until yesterday. Watch the numbers soar in a week or so.

They don't though. They are arriving in droves here in parts of Norfolk and Suffolk, buying up everything in the shops ,leaving the locals short and spreading any germs they might have to boot.
Then they'll expect to be treated at our local hospitals and doctors if they get ill.
If I was rich enough to own a second home, I would decamp from the city to it.
I don't see the problem.
They are not using it as holiday. They are using it because they live in areas ie. cities and towns to escape the virus and stay for as long as they want In doing so they spread the virus to where the virus isn't affecting as many people. Our rural and coastal towns do not have medical services or hospitals to cope. My son went to our nearest beach yesterday and the hordes were down there. Loads of second homes down here, and static caravans!

What if they show symptoms and become ill after they arrive bearing in mind the incubation period?
Apc....the link that you are posting will not open because you are including a full stop. That is why I re-posted it without the stop.
