Since we went into lockdown, the number of deaths has rocketed. Seems to suggest that lockdown helps to increase the epidemic. Innit?

You really DO need to rethink your demeanour and attitude.

Vaccine at the end of the year if you're lucky. It's probably why the prediction is that most of us will catch it anyway, and the effort is going into spreading the infections out over a longer period of lockdown and restrictions.
Still you never know, may be an unexpected break-through at any time. There's enough places trying for it.

No. people are still going out when it really isn't necessary :(
My son works in a supermarket and is astounded by the amount of people who are still coming into the store up to 4 times a day. Mainly the elderly. They [sic] still seem to think the 'dinkirk spirit' will keep them going, when in reality they are doing so much more harm than good.
I have withdrawn my help for my elderly neighbours that my son sees n there every day.
No one seems to care about the supermarket workers :( He comes home so stressed from being shouted at.

I suspect that the supermarkets are centres of infection. But yah gotta eat etc..
2m distance is all very well but you probably ain't got room to pass at that distance in the aisles. Besides you can catch your death standing in line in the cold wind outside.
We need the army delivering sterilised boxes of essential items to each doorstep, ensuring they spray them one last time after finishing touching them.

I don't get how anyone with the capacity to absorb and process information is still confused by the figures. With infection occurring up to 14 days more commonly 5-7 before symptoms occur of course numbers will increase and don't think that after this 12 week period everyone is safe... it will still be out there, and if you didnt catch it now you still might eventually. The only difference will be there might be more hospital beds by then.
