A few days ago we had her whinging that she was unprotected by the royals when she was pregnant, and now this. Does anyone else wish they’d just put a sock in it and get on with the life of privacy they claimed they craved in the non-Commonwealth country they’ve chosen to live in?

I feel really sorry for our royal family and in particular the Queen. The contrast between this disloyal pair and William and Kate is palpable. They are an embarrassment.

I have to agree.

Harry and Meghan appear to want it both ways - to be outside the royals in terms of actually doing anything useful, but to use their 'royal status' to lecture the world about their latest self-obsessed conscience outing.

They need either to be quiet and enjoy the privacy they claim to want so much, or be royals and act with appropriate restraint and absence of attention-seeking behaviour.

They cannot have it both ways.

To be honest, I never heard about it until this thread. Probably better to just ignore them if you feel so passionately about them. Less chance of a stress migraine.

They wanted to be left alone by the media and moved away so I wish they would just get on with their lives. Making statements like this is an open invitation for MSM and other media to use of. So much for them not wanting the attention.

I used to like Meghan but I'm guessing she may be behind the statement Harry issued.

I too have liked them, but now use of a sock comes to mind. While some think Meghan is behind everything, I'm not so sure. I think they share the same values and Harry just feels he can now voice his opinions on all and sundry as he now has support for his views. They really should take a step back, because the general public is tiring of them, and they are not doing themselves any favours.

Yes, I too wish they would put a sock in it. I thought they wanted a private life away from it all - what happened to that? I also think that Harry is as bad as her and shares the same views, I don't feel that she is making him say these things. If he does eventually come back with his tail between his legs, the Queen should tell him to 'do one'!!

Agreed, but there are many marriages where the wife is dominant and this is obviously one of them.

This must hurt the Queen very much. It’s a shame. Harry was such a lovely lad. I still think of his anguished face as he walked behind Diana’s coffin.
I think MM needs to think about what she wants. They’re not poor. They don’t need to feature in the public eye at all.

I agree of course naomi, she won't tell him even if she wanted to. My heart bleeds for her over this. She has been a wonderful Queen and now has to put up with all their self-entitled ramblings.

I feel featuring in the public eye is absolutely paramount to Meghan. I think that was much of her problem as a member of the royal family. She could never be top dog - no matter how she tried.
