Is your sister logged into a Microsoft account? According to the Minecraft site, you now need one to be able to play the game:

Also, did you purchase the game through your sister's Microsoft account or your own? This might be relevant:

The thread’s old, but I want to ask the OP how they solved the problem. Was it about the Microsoft account? Or because the game was not purchased from a reliable source? I am interested because I have the same problems now, and I cannot find an appropriate way to resolve the problem. When I was still playing Minecraft, I used the java version and played on these minecraft servers https:/ /server s-minec raft.ne t five years ago. But then I gave the game up. Now I would like to come back, but the game I purchased only lets me play the demo version. I bought it from an official Windows store and didn’t think there could be any problems with that.
You may need to log in to your account (login = mail). Did it work? Then put the game on, log in to the launcher (also, login = mail) and play. Look for the problem in the previous step and at what stage it didn't work out. You can also try to ask https:/ /answer s.micro soft.co m/en-us /xbox/f orum/al l/3-bes t-minec raft-se rvers-f or-pris on/af8e 522b-aa 44-4f7b -aad9-2 5911fc6 3516 and get a more detailed answer to your question. I found many useful things about playing Minecraft for my daughter, but we didn't have problems like yours. Maybe you bought a pirated version of Java?
