Universal Credit Biographical Questions..
5 Answers
I’ve been claiming universal credit along with my partner since April last year.
Had no problems with it.. non of our circumstances have changed, we haven’t moved house.. but they’re ringing my partner as they said they needed some more information on housing costs etc..
I sent them the relevant documents yesterday which were accepted but the phone call is still in place.. again no problem.
However, the work coach has said he needs to ask my partner (who doesn’t even deal with the claim and it goes into my bank account) some biographical questions..
So my question.. (I’ve tried looking online!)
What are these biographical questions they’re going to be asking?
We just want to be prepared but haven’t a clue!
Any help would be much appreciated!

It might be on your claim but the check is to confirm your partner's ID. Their system will generate up to a specific number of random questions (from dozens of options) for him to answer and he then has to answer correctly, a set number for him to satisfy the identity requirements . The questions are ones he should know the answers to or have access to them.
