It's because we were not selfish, entitled brats that we don't sympathise with you. Respect for your parents who are concerned for your welfare should be your first consideration. Can you imagine how they must be feeling in all of this? No, I don't suppose you can because you are too focused on your own sense of grievance. Think about them for a change, instead of complaining when they try to protect you from making (a) a fool of yourself (b) getting intro trouble with the law (c) getting attacked or assaulted while you are too drunk to protect yourself (d) getting sick because your young body is not yet equipped to deal with the effects of large amounts of alcohol. And then feel grateful that there are people in this world who care enough about you to protect you from all of this.
