In Stoke, I pick up from one supermarket collection point (an Aldi) once a week and a few weeks ago the container went from been overflowing to just a few items.
I collared the security guard and asked him about it.
Apperantly someone else had blatently been going in and saying that they are from the foodbank and taking the food, no question asked.
Since this incident, the security guard has ascertained (via security cameras) what time the thief has been collecting our food.
(its the day before our scheduled collection)
Said guard has been going into work an hour earlier and monitering security cameras at about the same time that the thief had been collecting.
No more thefts since.
So, 2 questions...
1) Is someone in the store tipping him off?
2) Why the hell do Aldi, of all places, have a security guard?
