I started a new job about 3 days ago. What we do is go around to different businesses and clean them. Well my supervisor was training me and I saw him wipe down a toilet and use the same rag on the light switches around the office. I didnt say anything but I was gonna wait until I saw him do again and then say something. Or should I just report him straight to his supervisor?

Do it! Right away! Don't dwell.
red for the bogs, blue for the rest of the facility..otherwise *** on him from a great height.
though I do know of a building co that works the other way around but at least they are consistent -maybe they are from 'Below the Equator'?
Cindy you have posted 4 times on, what you perceive, bad hygienic practices of your manager. Either ask him to explain his actions to you or report him, or quit and explain why. You mentioned a councillor in one post. Why not speak to them about your concerns
I agree with calmck, you are getting yourself all worried and stressed out for no reason.

The guy should be using different cloths for toilets and then other areas. You should do it properly and, maybe, he will learn from you.

You are NOT responsible for him and his actions. If you manage to mention to him, in casual conversation, what he is doing wrong.

If you can't cope with this job you are going to have to find something else. You need to calm down and realise that no job is going to be perfect and that good and kind people make mistakes too.
Life is hard work even when you are doing well and able to cope. Just do your best and do not worry.
I can tell you first hand that worrying can make you ill and it changes nothing.

Good luck!

True, but so can a keech-smeared lightswitch.
Note. Only once in Cindy's posts about her concerns with her supervisor has she responded to any reply and that was to clarify what she meant. Cindy if you are so concerned do read the advice, mostly sensible, that you are given
You've got such a way with words Douglas ;)
keech-smeared lightswitch. yuk!!
Jings, don't schit the messenger.
:-)
I would not cause any friction by confronting him, observe what he did and let him make his own mistakes. Go out and do the job in the correct way with pride.
shop him dont have any qualms about it this guy is a danger to the rest of the staff asked to see your supervisor in confidence and dont forget his actions can be harming you too. he will have be trained in his work if not then you should see your health and safety boss if you have one
you sound like a right trouble maker. I suggest another line of work.
Bit harsh ttt... sometimes a whistleblower is what's needed
everything is covered in sheite anyway, ever heard of the fecal cloud? Did everyone who ever flushed the kazi put the lid down first? Nope thought not!
Do your job and do it right.
If other people are not doing there job correctly, it is neither your job to supervise them or to report them. Their supervising should be supervising them, and it is them that is failing.
ttt
You must live in a very old house. toilets in the 70s did low flush / suction action NO spray no standard
