Normal Or Not Normal?

I’m having a disagreement with my partner about something. He comes home and announces he’s hosting a fondue party at our place with some girl from work. I said I think that’s a little weird that you would host a party with anyone that’s not me at our house. He is very convinced that this is a reasonable normal thing to do. What do you think, normal or not normal.

not normal without asking you rather than telling you.
I'm sure my wife would be as unhappy as you are. Does seem strange and he should have asked you first. Is she doing all the work and you as a couple are providing the venue?
not at all normal, he should have had the decency to discuss the matter with you first. I wouldn't like it at all.
Fondue party? Where do live - the 1970s?

Neither the party nor you partner's actions are normal.
Is this party for people connected to work?
Very weird.
Am I the only one thinking 'very cheesy'?
just you douglas....

Yes, they are inviting people from work.
So in effect two colleagues are organising a works to do to be held at the home of one of them.
Any reason for this party? What are their positions at work?
LOL......LOL.....

Mrs sqad is fuming.......fuming.......spitting feathers.

Sqad is smiling and thinking"fondue party?" No big deal.

I hope you're not really using a fondue and it's just a figure of speech, one way to pass infection around guaranteed by sharing dips etc.
Fondues are fine if nobody 'double dips' - which you wouldn't do with fondue.
"Sqad is smiling and thinking "fondue party"...

No, sqad is thinking 'fondle party' and smiling :-))
