Just For Fun - Pet Household Job You Hate!!
46 Answers
Nobody likes housework right? But everyone has one job in particular that they loathe. Well I have two - one is changing the duvet cover! With a king size duvet I just detest it lol! The second is cleaning the glass shower door! Honestly within a day of doing it , it then looks as tho I’ve not done it for weeks! Grrrrrr.

I wonder how many of you regularly clean the tops of wall mounted cupboards, the top, sides and back of your fridge, oven, etc. As a decorator, the one thing that always 'got to me' when papering a kitchen, was that the client(s) had seemed impervious to the fact that the tops of the wall units and sides/backs of fridges and ovens had gathered a coat of grease and were horribly sticky to the touch - and you couldn't help but touch them.
Obviously if the client was incapable of climbing up a step ladder to clean the surfaces, that would be forgivable. But not if they were able-bodied:-(

A good idea, Barry, and one which i used to employ as i was able to use remnants from whatever job i was doing. I may invest in a cheap roll of vinyl, once i've sugar-soaped the surfaces next week :-)
Some folk put their rarely-used, still in-the-box pots, pans and other items on top of their units. Then when i come to move them in order to access the wall..........sticky fingers, yeuk. Still, at least the surfaces are relatively grease-free:-/

Duvet change for me too. Sometimes it goes nice and easy. Most of the time the duvet corners get 'lost' in there.
Second is sweeping up after the cat...and it's always worst just after I've done a good sweep and tidy up. He waits...then jumps in and sends stuff flying. I've got puppy pads under the trays...he scratches them into a pile.
