weddings abroad

me and my fiance were looking at getting married abroad, we both fancied cuba, however, when we asked the travel agent about it, she said that it can be a lengthy process as you have to get your birth certificates translated to spanish and then sent off to a number of different people, does anyone know how much this process can cost, and the length of time it takes to sort out?

Also, we were thinking of jamaica, does anyone know the legal requirements for here or any other suggestions?

we are open to different ideas at the moment are just weiging up the pro's and cons of different destinations!!

all we insist on is 5 * all inclusive with white sand and clear blue sea with a hotel on the beach! any reccommendations will be greatly recieved!

I got married in Florida in February, and it after my sister nearly had a nervous breakdown getting married the year before i was dreading it. But from start to finish it was the most relaxed and special day of my life.

Including spending money it cost us �9,000 for Two weeks in Orlando, One in Clearwater. In that was the meal for 20 people after the ceremony and all things wedding (my sisters cost her nearly �25K). We arranged our day through Virgin and tied the knot in the Wedding Pavillion outside Disneys Magic Kingdom.
No it wasnt a mickey mouse wedding, it was spectacular in every way, and STRESS FREE!
