old pictures found
we found some old family portaits in our attic from our old house there dated 1933,and a picture of a squad photograph i.e platton,war photo.,there are no names on the picture frames and wonderd if anyone new where we could take them.i am sure the family in this generation would be greatfull of them for there family tree ect. the picture were found at 163 broadway horseforth leeds.if anybody knows where i can take them please contact us.

You could find out from your deeds who owned the property in 1933 but that does not necessarily mean who lived there then originally owned the photo, it could be from a later resident.

You could also send copies of them to any army museum, and see if they could tell by the regimental badge's (I take it they are in uniform), and uniform's. If they can do that, you may be able to find men from the same regiment still alive, although you will have to be quick, they are a dying breed, more's the pity.
