My mother in law knows of a couple with a 20 year age gap. She was 18 when they married, he was 38. The gap didn't matter for years, but when he got to 70 and she was 50 it started to show as he was in very ill health...while she was still spritely. She was amazed at how 'old' he got, as it wasn't something she had ever thought about before!

no my sister is 26 and her partner is 46, and they are totally compatiable, im 28 and i only wish id found him before she did,(joke) he is romantic and house trained my husband who is only two years older than me cant even boil an egg so i guess no it doesnt matter and they have been together 4 years.
not psrticularly, just make sure that he doesnt think you want him for his money, or security he can provide, im assuming that you are just getting started of course..in life i mean.
i went out with a 29 year old, im 21, didnt seem t make much difference, we connected - but just for a short while, the candle stick melted, the small flame was put out.

i agree there is nothing wrong with it but i totally agree with Pippa68 comments. My parents had a 13 year age gap which didnot matter until he was 70 and she was 57 and it was then quite obvious that the age gap meant they wanted different things. My mum wanted to " have a life" but my dad became on "old" man. She always told us not to marry with such an age gap. However i took no notice and my husband is 13 years older than me! I intend to keep him young for as long as possible i am 55 and he is 68
