I have a daughter who is almost 3. I have not seen her father in over 2 years. I have to do a passport and other paperwork for my daughter. But some of the paper work say they need signatures of both parents/ On her birth certificate has his name and my name on there. How do I file this paper work with him and legally get my ex out of the documents without going to court??? He is not paying child support or even visits her. What and where do I start?

First of all I'd go to the Citizens Advice Bureau, they are completely free and very helpful. They will give you good, free, legal advice.
if you mean ex as in ex boyfriend then you DONT need his signiture EVEN IF HIS NAMES ON THE BIRTH CERT AS HE DOES NOT HAVE PARENTAL RESPONCABILITY i know cos i went to a solicitor for the same thing.if you mean EX husband then theres still away round it as you dont see him. see if you are entitled to legal aid.if not see a solicitor who gives the first half hour for free
contact the children's legal centre at essex university they will give you advice or tell you who can give u free advice
He may well have parental responsibility, cinders. The law regarding that changed about 3 years ago.
