my ex wife got pregnant by another man 5 years ago but i brought the child up along with my 3 others as my own until last year when she stopped me seeing him but i still see 4nights a week the others and the mother has told my harry the youngest i dont exist anymore .he now has a little sister,i miss him desperately but ai'm keeping out of his life for his sake as he thinks he has a new dad and all the trauma of courts and only seeing him spasmodically will do him and me no good.am i doing the rite thing!

If you're missing him, think how much he's missing you. IMO a dad is the person who raises you and loves you - that can't just be turned off on a whim.

It may be hard, but I'd fight if I were you - I have no idea of the legal aspects, but surely the last 5 years must count for something.

i am so sorry that it has come to this. I agree with xanderma. FIGHT her all the way! you have loved and cherished this child as your own for the past 5 years knowing that this child was not yours biologically. You will have some rights even if its just twice a month you get to see him....i hope everything works out ok x do keep us informed x
