Naming person in adultery divorce
4 Answers
I comitted adultery last year, just the once, and told my husband. We tried to make a go of it, but now are parting. He is going to name the person in the divorce, but I am worried he will need to be contacted. At the time he tried to blackmail me into seeing him again and I had to go to the police and they warned him off and I am so worried that he will be contacted and start pestering me again. I know his name and town he lives in but not his address. Anyone got any advice?

There is no need to even name this made in the divorce petition. It is far easier if he isn't named, in fact.
There is a time limit though - your husband has 6 months from knowledge of the adultery to start proceedings.
