I wanna study Dentistry?

Im currently studying my a - levels and have ambitions to go on to study either dentistry at university at degree level, pending on my a level results.

cos i messed up my first year at AS i think this will hamper my chances of getting into dentistry as they dont like people taking extra years to do a levels - how do you rate my chances of a successful application and does anyone know which university maybe lenient towards me??? any help would be great

There is no need to insult delboy-he is just asking a sensible question on what he needs to do to achieve a place in a dentistry course. lt isn't very encouraging to slate him for his grammar when he is trying to take positive steps to plan his career.
I would think that if you obtain the appropriate grades delboy you should be eligible for a place, although I am by no means sure of this. I do know you will need minimum of ABB to be eligible for any course and as you know dentistry is very competitive. I would think you should look at universities that offer the course and contact the relevant course tutors directly to find out what your options would be and to answer your specific question about taking extra years to do A-levels.

Dentistry is an extremely tough and competitive course to get on, as Im sure you know there are currently only 13 (soon to be 14) schools.
Don't doubt yourself, if you really want to pursue dentistry as a career, then go for it.
Im reliably informed that noone was ever refused entry into dental school for poor grammar however you will probably need 3 or 4 As at A-level especially since you will have taken longer to achieve them.
