Present ideas needed

Not sure this is the right section for this but I was wondering if you lovely people could come up with some present ideas for me. My friend's birthday is in a couple of weeks and she's going to be in New York so I thought I should get her a birthday present that she could use while there. But I can't actually think of anything! She already has a guide book which would be the most obvious suggestion but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

It doesn't cost much but the most valuable thing to me when in New York is my Pop Up Map! It slips in your pocket and is so easy to use - don't have to keep getting the guide book out just to check where you are/something is. Borders and Waterstones sell them. Other than that I can't think of anything else she would need in New York - it's New York - you can get anything there, and it's probably better than what you can get here!
