Thats the question...What do you get a person that has everything? They have the money to buy whatever they want to they must have all they want...and i know that the EASY answer is buy something from they heart...but my head keeps telling me your going to make youself look like a fool so...got any advise?
What about National Trust membership for a year? Your friends can't have 'everything'- no one has. Why not make them something yourself-no one can have that particular gift, until you give it!
One of them oxfam ethical gift type thingies, at least you can feel smug that your gift has helped someone that needs it:: http://www.oxfam.org.uk/shop/default.aspx
I've had trhe same problem. A person who has everything - hasn't - but they have for the time being, so it makes present-buying quite difficult. I'm going to follow another Aber's suggestion, and get my other half some Dior stuff as a stocking filler - and then grab some things from Fortnum & Mason's. They have some lovely ideas this year.
Get them something that you're into that they might not ahve heard of before. I am getttig my mum a wine making kit (not a good example but I just remembered about it and think it's a good idea) and I think I'm getting my dad a Tim Minchin DVD as he's also a musician and I think he will appreciate the humour. Check out www.leftbooks.com for intresting books and stuff that are hard to find too.
