Strange pulse in lower abdomen, too slow for mine or baby, what could it be?
5 Answers
Hi everyone, hope you all had a good christmas. I mentioned a while back about this strange pulse like sensation I occasionally get in my lower abdomen. It's quite regular now, probably 2 or 3 times a day, feels like a calm and slow pulse either left, right or in the middle. It lasts for about 2 minutes at a time and is definately not the babys heartbeat or mine as is too slow. It is rythamic. Baby seems to be moving around as normal. Any ideas?

It started about 2 weeks ago and it's very annoying in the nights. The pulsing is very slow and strong, i would put my husband's hand to feel it. I was advised by a doctor to get an ultra sound done to see the location of the placenta. Hope all is well with me and the baby, a little worried but praying for the best.
