The most conceited man alive
9 Answers
Now that Lord Longford is no longer with us, the award for the most conceited man alive passes to Paul Burrell.
Just listening to the news reports of the trial where he holds forth about being privvy to all Princess Diana's thoughts, and the 'hub' of her life.
Reality check (cheque?) Paul - you were a butler, you are now a parriah who ekes out a 'celebrity' existence by recycling nonsense which your employer cannot gainsay because she is dead.
The only 'hub' you form is the centre of your planet-sized ego.
Any thoughts?

He now eeks a living by recounting his past glories. With each telling, the stories grow and become more distorted until it is difficult to tell what is real and what is Mr Burrell's fantasy.
His vomit inducing website is worth a look...

He was easy meat for Mike Mansfield QC and then tried to make fools of the Coroner and jury. A senior High Court judge (the Coroner) has seen 'too clever by half ' witnesses like him before. All this stuff about having a secret which he can tell nobody (Really? So why tell us you have it at all ?). Of course, he could tell the readers of his next book but telling us and the court before the book is out would spoil matters. Naturally it turns out that the secret was no secret at all. Since he has now sworn that he's told all he knows of any relevance he's right in line for a perjury conviction if he now publishes some 'secret' which he hasn't given to the court. Now, there's a prospect!
Totally agree with you 100% andy.
No-one alive to deny or back up anything he has stated.
He was so full of himself when outside the court today, waiting for all the photographers with their flashes of him.
He strikes me as being down on his luck at the moment and cashing in on all this.
It was so long ago anyway, they should bury this story once and for all.
