Pregnancy Test Worries! Please Help!
4 Answers
My last period started around about the 17th of march and is usually round about that time each month and i have never ever completely missed a period or even been that late for one.
But i haven't had one since then, so of course with it being only a few days of the end of this month i got worried and got a pregnancy test and did that yesterday (monday) night and it came back negative, but i had just had quite a lot to drink (not alcohol!) so was worried it might have diluted it or something so did another one this morning and it was still negative.. but still no period!
And its the last day of the month tomorrow!
So how reliable are these test's you can buy from places like Boots & Superdrug?!
I haven't had any morning sickness, though i have been feeling a bit more tired than usual, and occasionally getting dizzy spells in the past week or so.
I'm not on any form of pill, me & my boyfriend just use condoms so i'm worried something could have gone wrong and that i might be pregnant.
I have an appointment at the Dr's on thursday but not sure what they will say or be able to do?
Any help is greatly appreciated! x

I agree with hotpink. All sorts of little things can delay your period, and most pregnancy testing kits are quire reliable these days. Don't go by the fact that you've had "no morning sickness" though. Not everyone does. I didn't feel ill at all, throughout both of my pregnancies, but on the other hand, if you were to suffer in this way, it often soesn't start until the pregnancy'd more developed. Have a word with your doctor, take a urine sample with you - and hope things turn out as you want them to. x
I'm like you missjef, regular as clock work. but on the very odd occasion I have been late I've used the tests and always come back negative and eventually got my period. stress really does affect it and i know what its like waiting for you period - it drives you CRAZY. try to put it out of your mind until you see the Dr.
