Venue Search Near Surrey

My mother in law is going to turn 60 soon and is looking for a venue to hold a party in the Surrey area - can anyone suggest a venue, it has to be one that would be free of charge.

it's very unlikely you would get a venue free of charge unless you hold it in someones house, after all people who have "venues" are in the business of making money. I suppose there would be nothing stopping her sayin to everyone "meet you down the pub" but depending on how many people come, it might be a bit tricky to all sit together

Sometimes pubs have function rooms, and if people are buying drinks/food the venue itself could be free.
Other low cost options might be for example villiage halls

Why don't you take and pitch a large tent in Esher Woods or Ranmore Common, that's about the only fee venue I can think of in Surrey, if it was Sussex, you could possibly do it on the beach?
