would you let your little boy do dancing?
i have been looking at things for my son ( 3 ) to do ie football, swimming and he wants to do dancing like my friends little girl.
i used to dance as a child and loved it but i knew a lad that did it and got a lot of stick for doing it. wou8ld you let your son. i want to let him but would hate the thought of him being teased for it.

i would rather him doing something he wants to do rather than something i want him to do that he hates. If he gets teased later then he can make the decision whether to stop or not.
Kids are still kids and get teased for all sorts
dancing is good for flexibility, stamina, aerobic exercise
Hiya

We took my 5 year old daughter to ballet lessons and my then 18month old son came with us...he absolutely loved it and had to be dragged away every week! He is too young for proper lessons but would spend his time listening to his sisters teachers and copying everything they did!
He will be joining a class as soon as he is big enough! What about a more stage orientated class? there is a stage school near us that run dance (ballet, modern, and tap) plus singing and drama. Or a more 'street dance' type of dancing?
Good luck with your search...think Billy Elliot!!
Yeah if he's interested in dancing then let him do it. My one son was mad keen on ballet and he's grown up none the worse for it and was never teased actually despite the fact he played rugby as well:)
i could imagine you in a tu tu oddnob
lmao, yeah and I'd still smack the sh1te out of ya, I'd just look prettier doing it:)
o dear
your first thought is violence!

what don't you like the fuller figure?
I think its a great idea, if thats what he wants to do then let him! my son wants to learn street dancing, ive just gotta find somewhere local that does it!!!
My friend's little girl goes to ballet classes every week, and there are four boys in her group. Let your son do it if he wants to.
I used to love playing with my brother's old train set and tractors, but now I'm older, you couldn't find a less mechanical person anywhere.
It might be just a phase, but if not, at least your son'll turn out to be a great dancer!
Yes Yes Yes, let him dance. I agree with every thing everyone has said before.
