Don't know much about taking a baby on holiday but I do know about taking liquids on flights.
Liquids are limited to 100ml per container and no more containers than would fit in a one-litre plastic bag.
Bottles have to be clear and in a sealed clear plastic bag.
(I fell foul trying to take special cough medicine only obtainable from pharmacist but wasn't a prescription drug.)
The 100ml limit does not apply to baby's bottles but you will be asked to taste the contents at security.
Alternatively, you can buy cartons from Boots once you get through security
All I know is that you cannot take any Powdered formula. I think you have to take sachets that are already made up.
Hi i agree that the 100ml doesn't apply to babies drinks, but you prob will have to taste it! I took powdered formula to Spain in my suitcase, it was sealed, so I don't know if this made a differance?
Good luck & enjoy your hols!
It depends on the airport. I was able to take cartons through edinburgh airport no problem, however when leaving Belfast airport they made me open them all (rendering most of them useless) and taste them!!!!!! Whilst there may be rules that must be adhered to, it would seem that some airports interpret them differently.
Go for the spring water rather than the mineral waters. On most bottles there's a baby bottle to show you it's safe for babies. If in doubt go for Evian!
when we went on holiday we had the powdered milk In our hand luggage, we were made to make some up and drink it.
