i know this should be in shopping but thought i may get a better responce here......... my 3 year old wants a pair of boots like daddies steel toe cap black work ones. does anyone knoe where you can get some little ones from ( dont have to be steel toe caps just same design) he is a size 7 shoe but all the shops by me start from an 8. i know its a strange request from a toddler but it would make his day

Pesonally, i would go for an 8 with thick socks - boots can be a bit of a funny fit anyway depending on their instep.

Dr. Marten's do some lovely little boots for children, that look more grown up than they are. The leather's very soft, and although you won't get steel toe caps - which could stunt growth anyway - they look the part.

Equestrian tack shops sell small size boots.
Yes, but those ones are obviously riding boots, and the child might not want that if he doesn't ride.

The Doc Marten ones are lovely, and look like "daddy's".
