18 gifts

It's my friends 18th, and i want to get her 18 items, but i can't afford to spend more than about �30. I want to get some relatively good presents and lots little tiny ones, i just need inspiration!

Any ideas? Especially for the tiny presents.

do a beauty box: cotton pads, nailfile, varnish remover ,sachets of face packs, mini shower gels , mini shampoo, cheapy jewellery, hair bits , ask at beauty counters for sample sizes, etc works for my girl's stockings. and try Hawkins online for lots of little presents... they are brill

How about a really swish jewellery box, you should be able to get a really nice one for �12. And then get 18 �1 coins, leave them to soak in coca cola overnight, dry them, polish them up with a soft cloth, and they'll come up really shiny.
then place them in the box (one coin for each year).
I did this for my friend's daughter for her 19th, and she was delighted. Just a suggestion. Hope you find what you are looking for otherwise.

If you want to spend more on some items you could wrap up little comments about you and her as mini presents.

Her favourite chocolate bar, a pretty mug with something she likes on it or personalised, a photo of the two of you in a frame (you can do all sorts to them in Boots and other digital places), a friendship card (from most christian bookshops and some card shops), a CD of her favourite songs you could make for her, a list of the 18 best memories of you and her, you can get some lovely keychains or phone chains and accessories from H&M and Primark, a fancy scarf, a mini silver compact mirror, lush do some gorgeous bathbombs with dried flowers in, if you go to counters like Clarins or Clinique they sometimes have mini treats they give out.

individual lipsticks , you can get them for a pound in super drug, bars of chockies , a cheapy bubble bath seriously dont knock poundshops their great

it's fantastic they used their many photos taken over the year to suit each month, like a halloween party etc and also contacted her mum for family birthday dates and photos and the photo or text is put on the relevant date. Great quality and really original, a lot better than the pictures advertise. That leaves you with �15 for 17 presents although it might be more cos I think the calander is on offer at the moment.
