De-Alcoholised Wine
37 Answers
Having had problems with alcohol in the past I have been completely abstemious since April and intend to stay that way. However, with Xmas coming up and the fact that the thought of Diet Coke AGAIN for Xmas lunch is making me feel a bit dismal, I've bought some de-alcoholised wine, (0.2%) for the occasion. It is written about in a very good book called "Beat the Booze" and is recommended for pregnant women. Do you Abers think that allowing myself a small taste of wine and it being virtually nil alcohol is OK. I have strong will power and doctor's medication to ensure my continued sobriety. There is no alcohol in my house. Thanks.

Well, I'm not much of a one to preach about alcohol, cos I probably drink more than I should.
But you have strong will power?
And you enjoy wine for the taste, not just the alcohol buzz?
Well, if you deprive yourself altogether, it might make you crave it all the more.
But, instead of a bland, non alcoholic "wine" ...
... why not experiment with a few fruit punches?
They can be quite nice.
