24 (me ) 25 (him) waited until after his birthday so he was older than me ......that was 1975. When our daughter got married 2 years ago she and her husband waited until after his birthday for the same reason !!! My OH and I been together now for 38 years.

I was 18, it was 55 years ago and I am still wedded to the same man. We had three children and now have grandchildren. Life is pretty good.

I was a week off being 17 and my husband -to- be was 23 .We married in 1950 and looking forward to our Golden in 2010.4 children,11 Grandchildren and at least 11 great-grandchildren. ":It won't last": famous last words!
