Can you use government vouchers at any registered nursery or if you start at one can you change mid term if you dont like the way it is run.

As long as you change childcare provider at the half-term break, or at the start of a new term then you can use your vouchers at the new provider. The new provider will have to complete a form for your local authority in order to ensure that the funding is switched over.
i was under the impression that you had to be at the actual nursery for their particular head count, though it would be really helpful to me if you can swap half way through a term!!!
